Evaluation of good practices LEADER + for the European Observatory

In 2006 and 2007 the European LEADER + Observatory told ICALPE through Michel Dubost, Associate of the Centre, a mission aimed at evaluating good practice in the projects conducted by LAG LEADER in France, Italy Belgium, the Netherlands.

To this end ICALPE conducted the identification and selection of best practice in conjunction with the national contact point network LEADER + in each country.

The description of good practices was then performed using standard forms downloaded from the database of good practices LEADER (see: http://ec.europa.eu/agriculture/rur/leaderplus/index_en.htm, base data practices).

At the request of the European Observatory, ICALPE also acted as rapporteur final theme at both conferences closing LEADER + Programme in April 2007 in Borgo (Corse) and November 2007 in Evora, Portugal.

Both reports led to a detailed drafting of two sections with examples and published in Nos. 9 and 11 of the LEADER + Magazine (also downloadable at the same addresshttp://ec.europa.eu/agriculture/rur/leaderplus/index_en.htm, see publications).
