ICALPE recently visited the region of Jämtland in Sweden as part of the INTERREG IV C RURALAND. This was a study visit to transfer the good practice "educational dairy" of Jämtland to the region of Corsica.
This region of Sweden has developed, through its Institute for Rural Development (JILU), a training system for artisanal cheese production around an "educational dairy". This experience is likely to meet the development needs of the farmer and artisan cheese producers in Corsica. Accordingly, l'Office de Développement Agricole et Rural de la Corse was a candidate to transfer this good practice in Corsica.
