 Icalpe has participated to the first conference on cross-border hiking organized by the Community of communes Pyrénées Cerdagne, with support from the Regional natural park of The Catalan Pyrenees (download the agenda). On this occasion Icalpe made a communication about the 18 walks around the villages of Cap Corse, an achievement of the Community of communes of Cap Corse within the frame of the cross-border cooperation project l’Altra isola (download the powerpoint). After the success of this first conference, to which did participate the Consell Comarcal de la Cerdanya (Catalunya, Spain), the Tour du Mont-Blanc (French-Italian-Swiss cooperation), and experts on differents matters, including legal ones, about hiking issues, the organizers and participants have expressed the wish to follow with the idea of a rotating event among the mountain ranges : who is candidate to organize the Second conference on cross-border hiking in 2011 ?
